Tried 3 dealerships, they recommended to go to a locksmith who could cut a key not made from brass... Nissan key cutting equipment is not geared for Ti, which is roughly the same as steel but lighter. You need a beefier key cutter and someone who knows how to use it.
1990's (based on the profile of the OP) don't have key codes anywhere, not in the glovebox, not on the key... at least, not here in Canuckistan.
Had 3 Ti keys cut for different Z's by the method posted above, worked flawlessly for each.
